Old fashioned and quaint, or disgusting and ungroomed, depends who you ask when it comes to the state of unshaved genitals. Anything can be turned into a fetish. Most people even though it’s more popular now than it’s ever been, most in society will not be doing this. They can’t be bothered. If we prefer to do it even if no one else will be seeing it, then that means we really do it for ourselves.
I could take makeup as a case in point. I personally wouldn’t dream of applying makeup to sit alone at home if no one was going to see me, yet even though no one but me sees my genitals, I keep myself shaved, I do it for me since that’s how I prefer it. Yet I can think of a couple of people I knew that in fact did apply makeup to sit alone at home since it made them feel better about themselves. Seems silly to go to the trouble to me, but to each their own. There is a movement to go back to the natural ways, no more leg or underarm shaving for women, let alone pubes. I was horrified to read of this, but I guess as long as I won’t be adhering to it myself, it doesn’t really affect me if others wish to let themselves go.
Some men are happy with any pussy, shaved or hairy. I’m not sure how big of a deal it would be if you’d ask someone to shave for you. Perhaps they’d think you should accept me as I am and not even ask. It’s honestly not a lot to ask, only a few minutes a couple times a week to keep it off, no great sacrifice of time or efforts. Yet I wouldn’t go back to hairy if asked, that’s just not what I want.
